Please join Owner Tandi Temple Haas as we showcase Haywood County's newest venue space, Apple Hill Farms. With easy access from Waynesville, Apple Hill Farms offers a unique alternative with a tranquil, natural springs setting, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
This awe-inspiring renovation of the Plott Family Farm boasts multiple event locations. History tells us the Plott family members were apple growers and the current guest house - soon to be a honeymoon cottage was once the apple processing barn. North Carolina's state dog, the Plott Hound was bred on this land, donning the family name.
This reinvented location is perfect for weddings, family reunions, baby and wedding showers, business meetings, private dinners and more. Dining and dancing will soon be common in a converted corn crib, now referred to as the Summer House Pavilion. This building will accommodate up to 80 seated guests or more if your event is cocktail style. The original farm house included an outside kitchen. Now fitted with a glass chandelier this Dining Room offers a private, intimate dining experience for eight. For larger groups, picturesque garden areas can accommodate up to 150 guests.
The 1890's Farm House is also available, lending the use of four bedrooms, dining and meeting areas, bathrooms and a catering kitchen. Each room highlights various pieces of art from local artists. Plan your next event in this exquisitely restored location while helping to preserve Haywood County's rich heritage.
